Well, Howdy!

It's currently one o'clock and I've been awake since seven. I feel as if I've had a pretty productive morning:  I've helped my Mom to the Dr., fixed breakfast, realized that scrambled eggs smell like wet dog to me--sorry egg lovers, hope I don't ruin your breakfast--started the laundry, and I am now writing my very first post on my brand spankin' new blog. (Picture me excited!) Well, since it's the beginning of a blog, I can't skip the blog tradition, so we all know what that means. Introduction time! Now hopefully I will be able to nail this tricky introductory post, but all I can do is hope. *Crosses fingers*

Well, Howdy! The name's Aimee, I'm nineteen, and I'm an aspiring author, currently writing a young adult, fantasy novel. Just as a heads up, posts about writing will probably take up a good fraction of this blog--another small fraction will probably be a recollection of hilarious things my friends and family happen to say that day; trust me, they'll have you rolling on the floor sometimes. I love to read; some of my favorite books include the famous Harry Potter, Twilight, The Mortal Instruments (City of Bones, City of Ashes, ect.). Also I'm a huge music fan; I listen to nearly everything.

I think that's a good, quick description of me. Writing, books, music, yep, that's good--me in a nut-shell, I think. Want to tell me a little about yourself?

Well, it was nice blogging with you. Until next post! Au revoir!

  1. Hi, Aimee! Welcome to the blogosphere, and thanks for the follow! It's always great to meet another YA fantasy writer. The Harry Potter books are some of my favorites as well. I also love The Host (another Stephenie Meyer creation). Divergent is one of my new favorites.

  2. Hey, thank you, and thank you for the follow also :D. I can't wait to read Divergent, hopefully, soon. It seems like a really good book.

And nothing will ever beat Harry Potter and Stephenie Meyer's works--they might can tie, but I don't think anything could ever top them (lol). I can't wait for the sequel to The Host to come out. I wonder what will happen in it. Also, I've recently read that Stephenie Meyer has or is working on a 1,000 page mermaid novel. I'm excided for that one, too.

Also, I would like to say that your book, as well, sound's like it has an awesome plot. I've read the blurb on the top of your blog :)
